Our History.
The Macarthur Division of General Practice started in 1995. The current form of the organisation, Sydney South West GP Link Ltd., formed from the amalgamation of the former Divisions of General Practice, in the South Western Sydney region. This was as a consequence of the Australian Government replacing the Divisions of General Practice with the new structure of Medicare Locals, now the Primary Health Networks.
SSWGPLink is a member of GP Synergy Ltd., and a foundation member of South Western Sydney Primary Health Network.
