OTAC: Free Training Course in Opioid Treatment for GPs and Other Prescribers

Are you a general practitioner or other prescriber interested in learning about opioid pharmacotherapy treatment?

The University of Sydney is hosting a free training course on behalf of the NSW Ministry of Health in the SWSPHN area for medical and nurse practitioners to learn more about how to safely prescribe opioid pharmacotherapies (methadone and buprenorphine) for opioid dependence.

The Opioid Treatment Accreditation Course (OTAC) allows medical and nurse practitioners to be recognised as accredited prescribers of opioid pharmacotherapies. The next session will be hosted at the Liverpool Catholic Club on Saturday 14 May 2022 and presented by Dr Jenny James and Dr Richard Hallinan of Drug Health Services, SWSLHD.

To register for the OTAC, visit https://otac-may-2022.eventbrite.com.au.
